Mission Statement

We are committed to maintaining financial integrity through sound fiscal management while preserving and maximizing the resources needed to ensure the best possible educational services are delivered to our students. We remain steadfast in our commitment to communicating with our internal and external stakeholders about the district's finances and business affairs in an accurate, timely, and transparent manner.

Department Responsibilities

The business office is responsible for school district money management, financial planning, budgeting, purchasing, fiscal accounting, fees, financial reporting, grants, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This department is also responsible for financial compliance, including bond maintenance, budget preparation, and levy resolutions.

About Us

Alden-Hebron School District 19, in partnership with our community, will educate and inspire our students to reach their individual potential enabling them to be responsible members of society. To do that, we maintain an organization that accepts responsibility for making District 19 a top-rate school district. That begins with the budget, which is fiscally sound, balanced and focused on driving resources where they are most impactful—to our classrooms and our students. The District operates on a fiscal cycle that begins July 1 and ends June 30. The Board of Education adopts a budget annually and may amend this budget as needed.
