The Technology Department provides support for the technological needs of the district.

Ensuring devices and network/Internet access is reliable and secure, the Technology Department is dedicated to supporting hardware and software applications for all areas of the district, including:

A graduate of Alden-Hebron, Scott LeBaron is now the Director of IT for the Alden-Hebron School District.

Scott received a Business Administration and Computer Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Upon graduation, Scott worked as a hands-on IT Director in the Chicago suburbs, managing devices, data, networks, staff, and budgets for various companies, including United Airlines, DC Systems Consulting, and Interface Software, which was acquried by LexisNexis.

Scott, his wife, Gail, and their son, Joshua, moved back north in 2014 and he has led the IT Department here at our school district since early 2015. Scott has implemented our 1-to-1 laptop initiative and coordinated the move to Google Classroom. He has upgraded the infrastructure and wireless capabilities, and assists teachers, staff, and students daily with "all things IT".
