District 19 has one new positive case of COVID for a total of 21 reported. The people that need to know have already been contacted. Therefore, if no one has spoken to you personally, this doesn't affect you, and there is no need for concern. All steps and protocols have been taken and are being followed. We wanted to remind you that we aim to remain transparent and informative through this process. We appreciate your continued flexibility during this time. Please be vigilant in understanding the procedure for determining when our school community must be informed of a positive COVID case. We will only notify those individuals who are considered close contacts to a positive case. It is critical that we not disclose positive cases to anyone other than those being directly impacted or at risk. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out.

Picture retakes/Remote Learners Pictures will take place March 25th. The following has changed regarding picture retakes: Elementary students will have their retakes at the ES School from 830-1030am and MS/HS Students will have their retakes done at the MS/HS Building from 10:30am-3:15pm. **IF you purchased a package and would like a retake, please bring your original package to turn in.
D19 Families: Yearbook photos for REMOTE STUDENTS (PreK-12th)and RETAKES will be March 25th. This will take place at the MS/HS building from 10:00am-2:30pm in the auditorium. Parents/Students will arrive at the main entrance of the MS/HS building, have their temperature checked and be escorted to the auditorium. Order forms are available now in your students building. __________ Familias del D19: Las fotos del anuario para ESTUDIANTES REMOTOS (PreK-12th) y RETAKES serán el 25 de marzo. This week in 8th grade students had the opportunity to dissect owl pellets. In January, they read an article about the "barfing birds" and the students were very interested in it, so Ms. Fay took the chance to expand the curriculum a little and do this fun lab. At first some of the students were very grossed out, but by the end they were so excited to find the different bones and skulls within the pellets. Our coolest find was a mole skull that was intact, both top and bottom jaw.
Asynchronous Day 3/11 & 3/12: No in Person Learning -Office hours by appointment from 7:15-3:15 / Parents, students, or teachers may request an appointment to meet - ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Students will log in for attendance only at 8:00 am students will use this time to complete any missing or unfinished work. -MIDDLE SCHOOL: Students will log in for attendance only at 7:40 am and 10:38 am students will use this time to complete any missing or unfinished work. -High School: Students will log in for attendance at 7:40 am and 11:15 am students will use this time to complete any missing or unfinished work.
Students that attend tech campus should sign into their regularly scheduled class or be picked up at the school for bussing if attending in-person.
