District 19 has another positive case of Covid for a total of two confirmed. The people that need to know have already been contacted. Therefore, if no one has spoken to you personally, this doesn't affect you and there is no need for concern. All steps and protocols have been taken and are being followed. With strong efforts to continue transitioning to our hybrid/in-person learning, we wanted to remind you that we aim to remain transparent and informative through this process. We appreciate your continued flexibility during this time. Please be vigilant in understanding the procedure for determining when our school community must be informed of a positive COVID case. We will only notify those individuals who are considered close contacts to a positive case. It is critical that we not disclose positive cases to anyone other than those being directly impacted or at risk. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out.
Familias del Distrito 19: Hemos recibido una serie de consultas con respecto a las métricas de salud pública y las tendencias actuales a nivel del condado. Estamos monitoreando la situación de cerca en cooperación con el Departamento de Salud del Condado de McHenry. District 19 Families:
We’ve received a number of inquiries regarding public health metrics and current county-level trends. We are monitoring the situation closely in cooperation with the McHenry County Department of Health. Given the sharp rises in key metrics over the past several days, changes to our hybrid learning plans and a shift back to remote learning may be required in the near future.
As has been the case since the start of our reopening journey, our plans remain at the mercy of larger public health factors. Please make preparations to be ready should a shift back into Remote Learning be necessary in the near future. We will be in communication with any updates.
